Bunny Creek began in the Spring of 2002 as a creation of the store's founder, Sheri Stinchcomb-Sharp. The store and concept are the result of the convergence of several personality traits and life experiences of its founder.....bargain-hunter, mother, corporate manager, technical interest, and a life-long fascination with retail! (Didn't every little girl love to play store as a youngster?)
Once the motherhood part of her life story came about, Sheri decided to quit the corporate life to be home with her daughter (eventually 2 young daughters). She decided to start the business that would allow her to be home with the babies and fulfill many of her interests. Soon Bunny Creek was a reality...and the company has realized steady growth ever since (including a highlight of being featured on NBC's "The Today Show")!

The Bunny Creek name:
We often get comments on "how cute" that name is for a children's store. The company name was derived from a nickname given to the founder's oldest daughter almost immediately after she was born. When she wore those soft, pink, footed baby outfits she looked like a little bunny....thus the nickname "Bunny" was born. Sheri thought, "What a great inspiration for a company name"....The name "Bunny Creek" produces an almost storybook-like scene in the mind .... and soon a company was born!
